Job summary

Nordea, a leading Nordic bank with a strong technology focus, seeks a Senior Engineer to advance our Agentic AI rollout and modernize our software delivery. You will work across development teams to refactor legacy code and build robust CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid environment.

You will collaborate with engineers to maximize platform capabilities, drive DevOps practices, and deliver reliable software while contributing to a secure, compliant banking technology stack.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring boot, NodeJS/Java development environments.
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration in cloud/containers.
• CI/CD experience with Tekton, ArgoCD, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Assist on Agentic AI rollout to refactor legacy code for current platforms.

Main responsibilities in this role

• Assist on the Agentic AI roll out towards the different development teams to refactor legacy code into code able to run on current strategy supported platforms
• Build Continuous Integration and Deployment systems to fully support an end to end pipeline for developers and teams
• Collaborate in a highly technical environment always trying to find the best solution for the customer while delivering on our promise to reduce legacy
• Develop DevOps culture within Service Domains and prepare them to be independent
• Collaborate with developers on how to get the most out of our Agentic AI solution, but also provide feedback so we can improve the current offering

Your background and skills include

• Experience with Spring (boot), NodeJS / Java Development
• Strong Linux and Windows based system administration skills, with practical experience operating them in a virtual, cloud or containerized environment
• Continuous Integration and Deployment experience, utilising tools like Tekton, ArgoCD, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, in co-operation with GIT/Bitbucket
• Familiarity with container based architecture and infrastructure solutions, using Docker and Kubernetes

It would be ideal if you also

• AWS or Google Cloud Experience
• Groovy
• Vibe coding experience
