Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to validate, develop, and manage high‑fidelity 3D models of telecom and utility tower structures using Revit, AutoCAD, and laser scan data.

You will focus on LOD 350–500 modelling, perform clash detection with Navisworks, ensure accurate construction documentation, and integrate IoT data into Digital Twin solutions for structural analysis, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years BIM modelling experience.
• Expert Autodesk Revit knowledge.
• Strong AutoCAD and LOD 350–500 experience.
• Proficient in Navisworks for clash detection.
• Experience with RSA or similar tools.
• Knowledge of AIA LOD specs.
• Experience with laser scans and point clouds.
• Knowledge of Digital Twin concepts and IoT integration.
• Background in structural steel modelling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Eng or related.

Responsibilities

• Validate, review, and fix LOD 350–500 BIM models.
• Model lattice towers, monopoles, mounts, antennas, cables.
• Convert laser scan/point cloud data into accurate Revit models.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts.
• Prepare BIM models for structural analysis.
• Integrate IoT sensor data into Digital Twin/BIM.
• Create and maintain construction docs and asset data.
• Ensure compliance with AIA LOD specs and BIM standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
