Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, physics, electrochemistry, or related field
• Strong understanding of lithium‑ion battery technologies and system behavior
• Experience with battery modeling and validation against test data

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain battery cell, module, pack, and system-level simulation models.
• Perform electrical, thermal, electrochemical, and degradation simulations to predict performance, safety, efficiency, and lifetime.
• Define, maintain, and validate simulation requirements and methodologies.
• Support system architecture and design decisions through modeling and simulation activities.
• Evaluate design trade-offs related to energy density, power, safety, performance, reliability, cost, and lifetime.
• Collaborate with System, BMS, Mechanical, Software engineers, Validation teams, and external suppliers.
• Correlate simulation models with lab and field test data and improve accuracy.
• Support verification and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct performance analysis under various operating conditions, including extremes and faults.
• Generate technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and management.
