Quanata, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Back End Engineering to lead a high-performing backend team delivering core policy, billing, and financial ledger platforms. You will combine people leadership with technical guidance, shaping architecture, delivery, and engineering processes across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management.
• Experience with personnel development and performance management.
• Experience with sprint and roadmap planning, capacity modeling, and resourcing.
• Strong technical architecture fluency, focus on backend systems.
• Enterprise partnership and stakeholder management skills.
• Executive-ready written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coach, lead, and develop a team of engineers at multiple levels.
• Provide architectural guidance and support technical decision-making for back end systems.
• Partner with Product Management, Program Management, and teams to drive product delivery.
• Improve engineering processes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Set and manage expectations with leadership and external stakeholders.
• Drive team performance against KPIs for throughput, quality, security, and performance.
• Lead sprint and roadmap planning, capacity modeling, and resourcing efforts.
• Stay current on industry trends and drive adoption of best practices.
