Job summary

SUNSCRAPERS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością seeks an experienced backend engineer to build a multi-tenant policy gateway in Nest.js, TypeScript and AWS. You will design canonical models, map policies, and ensure data isolation while working closely with client engineers across time zones.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, security reviews, and a fast-moving project with a greenfield service that interfaces with external policy systems. Remote EU / Poland arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering with strong, recent TypeScript in production; Nest.js or a comparable DI-based Node framework.
• Experience building integration services or API gateways, including webhooks, signatures, retries and idempotency.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL data modelling, schemas and migrations; multi-tenant data isolation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the gateway service on the client’s Nest.js-based internal framework and AWS.
• Implement the webhook contract: HMAC authentication, Vault secrets, IP allowlisting, date handling and policy-versioning.
• Build tenant router and registry with composite resolution and defined failure behaviour.
• Create the source adapter framework with per-source auth, timeouts, retries and circuit breaking.
• Develop batch path with SFTP landing zones, file validation and quarantine; load into policy store.
