Job summary

LiveChat is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own the SSO and account services, crafting technical solutions from business requirements and coordinating multiple teams across the organization. You’ll sit at the center of cross-functional projects, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0 at the protocol level, including flows and token types.
Strong Go production experience.
Solid MySQL experience.
GCP familiarity and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

Own the SSO service and OAuth implementation—lead technical decisions, communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Work on text-billing: subscriptions, usage-based pricing, payment provider integrations.
Drive projects end-to-end: take business requirements, design the solution, coordinate dependent teams, set milestones, ship it.
Proactively maintain your services—flag issues before incidents, propose fixes before they become blockers.
Contribute to cross-company work: client migration to TextApp, ACAM role management improvements.
