Fundraise Up is seeking a senior Backend Engineer to design and scale our high‑load, distributed donation platform. You’ll own key backend components, build scalable services in Node.js/TypeScript, and drive performance, reliability, and security across the stack.

You’ll work with a global, Russian‑speaking team using Kafka, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and modern frameworks like Koa/NestJS. AI tooling is encouraged across daily work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend development experience in a product-driven environment.
• Strong Node.js and modern frameworks like Koa or NestJS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own key parts of backend architecture to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.
