Job summary

LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a senior software engineer to join the Payments Team. You will design and implement platform architecture, build secure and scalable payment gateway integrations, and contribute to the developer pipeline with robust tooling.

We value ownership of solutions from design to delivery, strong communication, and a focus on architecture discussions. The role requires English fluency and a hands-on, proactive engineer mindset.

Qualifications

• Min. 7 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework
• Experience with MySQL and Kafka
• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Being not only a developer but primarily a software engineer - you love taking ownership of delivered solutions from their design to implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team
• Fluent English (C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate mostly in English)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the platform architecture that supports our business-critical systems.
• Testing (unit tests) and updating documentation.
• Participating in architectural discussions and suggesting ideas for technical improvements.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our business.
• Take part in the decision-making process on building our platform (yes, we will be listening to your advice as we trust you are an expert in what you do).
