Job summary

LeoVegas Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead senior engineers across Poland and Spain, focusing on the Sports platform. You will mentor, shape architecture, and drive engineering best practices in a fast-paced global team.

You will manage people with 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans, while collaborating with product management on roadmaps. The role combines technical leadership with strong people management in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

Solid engineering background with 5+ years as an engineer (Java or OO backend).
Experience with microservices-based products and Kafka messaging.
Minimum 3 years as Engineering Manager or Team lead.
People management including 1:1s and performance evaluations.
Experience with Agile methodologies and goal setting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers.
Define and implement processes to improve code quality and development efficiency.
Lead people management activities: evaluations, development plans, and 1:1s.
Collaborate with product management to align roadmaps with engineering capabilities.
Coordinate cross-team dependencies and deliver projects on time.
