InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform from the ground up. We’re creating a lean, AI-native engineering organization in Poland, with an emphasis on modern distributed systems and autonomy.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to own payment domain features, design scalable services, and mentor the team. The role combines architecture, development, and production support in a hybrid setup with weekly office days in Warsaw or Kraków.

Competenze

• At least 5 years in backend software engineering (Java/C#/NET, Rust, or Node.js).
• Experience designing/operating distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Proven production services, APIs, CI/CD, and observability solutions.
• Knowledge of data storage, relational DBs (PostgreSQL preferred).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Mansioni

• Design and build event-driven backend services for payment authorisation and ledger management.
• Develop scalable APIs with reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle from design to production support.
• Design and maintain domain events and integrations across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with managers and product teams to shape roadmaps and requirements.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
