Fireblocks is seeking a Backend Engineer in Warsaw to design and develop scalable backend services for on-chain transaction processes. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in backend or full stack engineering, with a strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, particularly in both EVM and non-EVM ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer.
• Deep understanding of transaction lifecycles and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems (EVM and non-EVM).
• Strong understanding of security principles in a blockchain context.
• Experience designing and operating microservices in production CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable backend services for high-volume transaction flows.
• Lead integrations with DeFi protocols and blockchain nodes.
• Optimize existing production systems for performance and security.
• Drive features from inception through to delivery at scale.
