N-able is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cove Data Protection product engineering team. You will work on cloud-native backup services, building scalable, reliable backend components in C++ and Rust while expanding our Rust codebase.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software in C++.
• Interest and willingness to learn Rust and apply it to production.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Learn, contribute to, and gradually take ownership of services written in Rust.
• Modernize existing platform capabilities and architecture.
• Design scalable APIs and distributed system components.
• Write high‑quality, tested code with automated tests.
• Troubleshoot production and performance issues.
