hyperexponential is building an AI-powered underwriting platform for insurers, seeking a backend engineer to own and evolve the workflow systems. You will design and implement backend services in Kotlin/Java, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate across product and client teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building and running backend systems in JVM languages.
• Proven ability to ship software end-to-end for real customers.
• Strong architectural judgment on APIs and domain models.
• Proactive, self-motivated with excellent communication.
