Job summary

Seargin Ltd is seeking a backend Java expert to develop and maintain scalable services in a cloud-native, containerized environment. You will work with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems to deliver robust backend solutions within an international team.

The role involves collaboration on cutting-edge projects using Spring Boot and related technologies, with opportunities to contribute to global initiatives and work with modern IT stacks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining Java backend applications in enterprise/cloud-native environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and backend data integration.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern backend architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud-native platforms and scalable backend services.
• Excellent written and spoken English for collaboration in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and PostgreSQL.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and PostgreSQL, ensuring reliable and efficient application functionality.
• Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments to support the deployment and operation of backend applications.
• Support Cloud-Native Platforms
  • Contribute to the development and operation of cloud-native platforms, ensuring their stability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design Distributed Systems
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend solutions based on modern distributed systems and containerized architectures.
• Ensure Application Performance and Reliability
  • Monitor and improve backend application performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver, maintain, and continuously improve robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including working with containerized applications and managing deployment environments.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining backend applications using Java in enterprise or cloud-native environments.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including supporting backend data management and application integration.
• Distributed Systems and Containers
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, containerized environments, and modern backend architecture principles.
• Cloud-Native Platform Knowledge
  • Understanding of cloud-native platforms and the technical principles behind developing and operating scalable backend services.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within international engineering teams.
