Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join a backend team responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and services.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL and Kafka in a cloud-enabled environment to deliver reliable APIs and robust data processing for international partners. The role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working on projects within a development team.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Practical experience with Kafka and knowledge of topics; Debezium is a plus.
• Experience building data pipelines and data mapping/transformations.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services for deployment and operations.
• Familiarity with JSON data format and processing techniques.
• English proficiency for technical documentation and international vendor communications.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Java Developer to join a development team responsible for designing and implementing backend systems and data pipelines. The person in this role will work with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL and messaging technologies to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors and demands strong technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain data access layers with Hibernate/JPA and SQL.
• Develop and test components using JUnit and other testing tools to ensure code quality.
• Build and support data pipelines and integration flows, including use of Kafka and Debezium where applicable.
• Create and manage topics and related configurations in Kafka/Debezium environments.
• Consume and produce JSON-formatted data and implement appropriate data mapping and transformation logic.
