Job summary

Glorium Technologies Corp is seeking a senior backend engineer to shape the architecture of a modern multi-tenant SaaS platform for legal ops. You will own tenant isolation, access controls, and audit systems while integrating Azure OpenAI and Entra ID for secure, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Node.js and TypeScript experience, including building and operating production backends.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS using schema-per-tenant PostgreSQL or comparable strong-isolation architecture.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills in data modeling, performance tuning, and migrations at scale.
• Experience with RBAC, OIDC, SAML, and SSO integrations.
• Hands-on cloud-native development on Azure using Container Apps or App Service.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-tenant architecture, schema-per-tenant PostgreSQL, data-access layer, and automated tenant isolation guarantees.
• Build configurable object-, record-, and field-level permissions across lists, search, reports, exports, notifications, and AI features.
• Implement ethical walls and tamper-evident, append-only auditing with field-level change history.
• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID via OIDC for internal users and SAML for external users.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI through the backend, ensuring AI features respect the calling user’s permissions.
• Define backend architecture, code quality, and security standards.

About the project:

Build the backend foundation for a modern multi-tenant SaaS platform transforming legal operations. Work with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure to shape architecture, data isolation, permissions, integrations, audit systems, and AI-powered workflows from day one.

Your expertise will directly influence the platform’s technical direction and the product used by legal teams every day.

A new team member will be in charge of:

• Owning the multi-tenant architecture, schema-per-tenant PostgreSQL, data-access layer, and automated tenant isolation guarantees.
• Building configurable object-, record-, and field-level permissions across lists, search, reports, exports, notifications, and AI features.
• Implementing ethical walls and tamper-evident, append-only auditing with field-level change history.
• Integrating Microsoft Entra ID via OIDC for internal users and SAML for external users.
• Integrating Azure OpenAI through the backend, ensuring AI features respect the calling user’s permissions.
• Defining backend architecture, code quality, and security standards.
