Job summary

Atos is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, automate, and operate a robust Azure-based data and reporting platform. You will drive CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and security controls to ensure reliability and high availability for mission-critical workloads.

The role emphasizes collaboration across data engineering, infrastructure, and operations, with a focus on scalable, secure cloud platforms and adherence to governance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure platform services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, and operational excellence practices.
• Proven experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient cloud platforms.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup and restore processes, and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of security, governance, compliance, and platform engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale operational environments and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, infrastructure, and operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive CI/CD implementation, release management, and deployment automation.
• Act as the technical liaison between engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Establish and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Define and implement backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Ensure platform reliability, resilience, performance, and maintainability.
• Implement and promote operational best practices, governance standards, and security controls.
• Support platform scalability and availability requirements in SLA-driven environments.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous operational improvement.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and platform engineering decisions.
