Job summary

Atos is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support design, automation, reliability, and operational excellence of a business-critical Azure-based data and reporting platform. The role requires coordinating between data engineering and infrastructure teams to establish a robust foundation.

The ideal candidate combines Azure platform expertise with CI/CD, IaC, and observability, building a scalable, secure, and resilient platform for mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure platform services and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, and operational excellence practices.
• Proven experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient cloud platforms.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup and restore processes, and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of security, governance, compliance, and platform engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale operational environments and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, infrastructure, and operations functions.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support design, automation, reliability, and operational excellence of a business-critical Azure-based data and reporting platform. This role will be responsible for establishing a robust and highly available platform foundation, ensuring seamless collaboration between data engineering and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong Azure platform expertise with deep knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and enterprise operations. They will play a key role in building a scalable, secure, and resilient platform capable of supporting mission-critical reporting and external-facing data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive CI/CD implementation, release management, and deployment automation.

• Experience with cloud security frameworks and governance models.
• Azure certifications in administration, architecture, or DevOps.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise data and analytics programs.
