Job summary

Xebia is hiring an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable Azure platforms across large-scale environments. You will build infrastructure with Terraform, manage Azure networking, and embed security guardrails, while adopting GitOps and CI/CD practices.

You will also apply Generative AI to infrastructure tasks, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams in a dynamic EU-based setting. Fluency in English and strong Azure experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering.
• Demonstrable Azure delivery at scale.
• Experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management.
• Knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting.
• Experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements.
• Practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks.

You will be:

Your profile:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering
• demonstrable Azure delivery at scale
• experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency
• deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management
• knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus
• strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and security, including connectivity, segmentation, hybrid infrastructure, identity, governance, and security controls
• experience designing and managing infrastructure CI/CD and GitOps processes
• strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell
• deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting
• experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements
• practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks
