Job summary

Luxoft seeks an experienced software engineer to join a Scrum team building a new Azure-based cloud Core platform for a large international client. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, collaborating closely with UX analysts and other developers.

The role requires strong C#, .NET, SQL and RESTful API experience, with emphasis on maintainability and scalability. Expect regular travel to Belgium (1 week every 2 months) as part of project rotation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of proven experience designing and developing scalable software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure architecture and containerization.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, HTML and related technologies.
• Extensive experience designing RESTful web services and APIs.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum team to design, develop and maintain a cloud Core platform.
• Participate in Scrum planning and analyze work to be done.
• Implement new functionality or refactor based on specifications and mock-ups.
• Collaborate with developers and UX analysts.
• Create technical designs and define Azure architecture.
• Support decision-making balancing cost, scalability and maintainability.
• Write unit tests for new features.
• Participate in code reviews and report progress daily.
• Focus on bug fixing as needed.
• Occasional travel to Belgium for project rotation.
