Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior software engineer to join a Scrum team for an Azure-based Core platform project. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud solutions with close collaboration across developers and UX analysts.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong Azure and containerization skills, and fluency in English. Regular travel to Belgium is part of the job, with a Polish location base and employment under a standard contract.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with strong software engineering background.
• 6+ years of designing and delivering scalable software systems.
• Azure Functions, Azure architecture, and containerization expertise.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, and related technologies.
• Experience in designing RESTful web services and APIs.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a Scrum team to build a cloud solution for the Core platform.
• Participate in Scrum planning and analyze tasks.
• Implement new features or refactor code per specs and mocks.
• Work closely with developers and UX analysts.
• Create technical designs and define Azure architecture.
• Support decision-making balancing cost, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write unit tests for new functionality and review code.
• Report progress daily and focus on bug fixing when needed.
• Travel to Belgium for one week every two months.
