Job summary

Outokumpu, a leader in sustainable stainless steel, seeks a data engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines across Azure and Databricks. You will implement ETL/ELT, build lakehouse architectures, migrate legacy warehouses, and optimize performance while ensuring governance and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on with Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and modern lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure, Databricks, PySpark and SQL.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in data engineering and enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and modern lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks Lakeflow, Delta Live Tables or streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting AI/ML, GenAI or RAG data solutions.
• Experience modernizing legacy data warehouses or integrating SAP data.

Salary range in Poland: 13,880 - 17,340 zl. gross. Final offer depends on candidate experience and competence.
