Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland seeks a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Resiliency & Automation to design and implement cloud-native solutions that drive scalability and operational excellence across enterprise systems.

You will build resilient applications on AWS, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and automation initiatives while embracing hybrid/remote work within Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services (ECS, Docker, Fargate, EC2, Step Functions).
• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS or Java.
• Experience with CloudFormation and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with observability tools and logging (Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of security tools (IAM, Secrets Manager, Auth0).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices.
• Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects and teams to identify technical and functional application needs.
• Build and deploy scalable applications across enterprise systems.
• Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation.
• Support application integration via APIs and gateways.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
