Job summary

Mirantis, the Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Automation Software Tester for the MSR4 product team (remote). You will drive QA strategy for Mirantis Secure Registry, Kubernetes and cloud-native environments, and lead test planning for large-scale, multi-cloud deployments.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing with 4+ years in Kubernetes and distributed systems, plus strong scripting (Python, Pytest, Bash) and mentoring of QA engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software testing or quality engineering roles.
• 4+ years focused on Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
• Proven leadership in building and scaling test strategies in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to QA strategy for Mirantis Secure Registry, Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Evaluate and champion testing frameworks for distributed systems.
• Lead risk analysis and test planning for large-scale, multi-cloud deployments.
• Architect test frameworks and infrastructure for validating microservices in multi-cluster environments.
• Oversee complex test scenarios simulating production-like workloads and failures.
• Drive scalable test automation integrated with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.).
• Promote infrastructure-as-code and IaC best practices for repeatable environments.
• Mentor QA engineers and participate in design reviews and incident retrospectives.
