Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our automation journey for our core accounting platform – SimCorp Dimension. You will drive automation strategies and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across locations.

You will perform manual testing when needed, design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, develop supportive tools, and deliver cross‑layer test coverage for Desktop, Web, APIs, microservices, ETL and cloud services.

Qualifications

5+ years of automation testing experience, preferably in finance.
Experience with end-to-end testing across multiple layers (Desktop, Web, APIs, Cloud).
Strong understanding of test strategies, plans and automation frameworks.
English proficiency is required (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

Enable Shift-Left and Automation-First culture in the QA space.
Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders across locations.
Execute manual testing when needed and support automation.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and scripts.
Develop tools to increase test engineering productivity and efficiency.
Define automation strategies, plans and test coverage across multi-layer applications.
Apply testing across Desktop, Web, APIs, Microservices, ETL and cloud-based apps.
Perform in-sprint automation testing and build regression suites.
Analyze errors via logs, queries and data sources.
Manage test and defect lifecycle in Agile environments.
Generate test reports for stakeholders.
