Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Senior/Lead QA Automation Engineer in Java to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.

The role collaborates with developers, product owners, and DevOps to define test strategies and enable continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines. Office presence is required 3 days per week, with a dynamic, Agile Scrum environment focused on delivering fast and reliable releases while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA automation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Java SE 8+ experience.
• Experience with Selenium and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of code coverage with JaCoCo.
• Ability to work with legacy codebases and modern practices.
• Fluency in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain automated test code and test cases.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline with DevOps teams.
• Identify, document, and track defects with tracking tools.
• Conduct performance and load testing to meet benchmarks.
• Participate in all SDLC phases to ensure quality from start.
• Provide QA insights during reviews to improve testability.
• Define and track quality metrics and report progress.
