Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a security-focused team working on a large on-premises healthcare product. You will design and implement automated tests for security-related changes and collaborate with developers to prevent regressions in a mature C++/Qt application.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in automated testing and hands-on C++, with strong knowledge of desktop/on-premises applications, SQL, and Oracle DB.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing automated tests for complex software products.
• 1+ years hands-on with C++.
• Experience testing desktop/on-premises applications.
• Good understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to test security-related scenarios, including input validation and injection protection.
• Qt-based desktop software is beneficial for collaboration with developers.
• SQL knowledge and experience validating database-driven workflows; Oracle Database experience is an advantage.
• Experience testing mature or legacy applications is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and defect investigation skills.
• Security testing experience is a strong advantage.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with spoken English.
