As a Senior Associate in Procurement Operations, you will play a central role in advancing Moderna’s global procurement systems and workflows—specifically Ariba and SAP—within a dynamic, high-growth environment. Acting as a key connector between Procurement, Digital, Finance, and other stakeholders, you’ll help deliver system optimization, ensure data and process integrity, and foster cross‑functional excellence. This role is rooted in operational precision, system intelligence, and strategic problem solving. Whether delivering direct user support, managing process improvement initiatives, or validating system functionality, your contributions will be crucial to driving automation, compliance, and adoption at scale. You'll operate independently while closely supporting a global network, with opportunities to shape innovative procurement strategies. Your passion for efficiency, comfort with ambiguity, and appetite for continuous improvement will drive your success and impact. This role also presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Digital teams shaping new tools, including potential exposure to Generative AI applications within operations.

Here’s What You’ll Do
  • Supporting daily procurement operations, ensuring process accuracy and compliance across internal and external stakeholders
  • Reviewing and creating Purchase Requisitions with a focus on compliance and process alignment
  • Testing and validating SAP, Ariba, and ServiceNow enhancements to support platform innovation
  • Delivering hands‑on training to system users and ensuring user adoption of tools and standards
  • Performing analyses related to Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) functions and supporting internal audits
  • Ensuring procurement workflows meet internal control requirements and audit standards
  • Managing procurement documentation, process maps, and user guidelines
  • Supporting rollout and administration of cross‑functional process improvement projects
  • Participating in data standardization and optimization efforts across the procurement lifecycle
  • Contributing to digital tool functionality discussions with internal tech partners
Your responsibilities will also include:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and improve workflows
  • Responding to inquiries from across the business in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing operational reporting and insights for senior leadership and functional teams
  • Communicating process standards and ensuring training documentation is clear and current
  • Identifying and supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives with potential for Generative AI integration
  • Partnering with the Digital function to test and evolve procurement technologies
  • Engaging with global colleagues to ensure process consistency and alignment

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Procurement Operations
