Job summary

Amentum is building an Integrated Delivery Solutions team in Kraków and Warsaw. We seek a Senior Assistant Structural Engineer to support design and construction using Eurocodes, Revit/Tekla BIM, and analysis tools across regulated sectors.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, develop 3D/2D deliverables, and grow technical knowledge under supervision with increasing independence. The role is based in Poland with UK/European standards guidance.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
2-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Experience using Eurocodes (EN 1990-1999).
Experience in Revit and/or Tekla.
Experience in RSAP, Staad Pro, SAP2000 or other finite element software.
Fluent in English (B2 or higher) and Polish.
Willingness to learn and work within highly regulated sectors (defence, energy, industrial).

Responsibilities

Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.
Support structural analysis and design under senior engineer supervision.
Perform calculations and checks for structural elements using finite element method or hand calculation, preparing calculations reports.
Work in BIM environments (Revit / Tekla), including model reviews and clash checks.
Work in Staad Pro, SAP2000, IdeaStatica, Mathcad.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
