Woodward, Inc. in Niepołomice, Poland, seeks an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to lead turbomachinery projects from quotation to FAT and commissioning.

You will design system architectures, panels, BOMs, write control software, and develop HMI/SCADA applications, while supporting customers and the commercial team with technical input. Qualifications

• Knowledge related to turbomachinery and/or rotating machinery.
• Proficiency in programming languages for PLCs.
• Understanding of hardware-related topics for control systems.
• Working knowledge of CAD software (Creo, ePlan Pro Panel) and control cabinet design standards.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems (iFIX, Citect, Cimplicity) is advantageous.
• Bachelor or Master in Automation & Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related.
• 4+ years in Industrial Automation.
• Polish and English communicative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical scope of turbomachinery projects from quotation to FAT and commissioning.

Job description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead and execute the technical scope of systems/services commercial turbomachinery related projects from the quotation phase through execution, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning. Key elements include:

• Creating system architecture,

• Designing of control panels,

• Managing components (BOM),

• Developing control software applications,

• Creating HMI/SCADA applications,

• Performing testing and FAT,

• Providing production & commissioning support.

• Provide technical support to customers

• Deliver technical training sessions to customers

• Support the commercial team by contributing to proposal creation, offering technical expertise for commercial offers, and participating in customer presentations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Knowledge related to turbomachinery and/or rotating machinery

• Proficiency in programming languages for PLCs

• Understanding of hardware-related topics for control systems

• Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Creo, ePlan Pro Panel) and familiarity with control cabinet design standards

• Knowledge of SCADA systems, such as iFIX, Citect, and Cimplicity (advantageous)

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Automation & Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related

• 4+ years of proven experience in Industrial Automation

• Communicative Polish & English, other languages would be a plus

• A strong work ethics, enthusiasm, cooperation, and communication skills
