Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for I&C systems to lead commissioning activities on worldwide projects. You will coordinate commissioning of automation processors, sensors, drives, and interlocks, ensuring trouble-free operation of I&C and DCS equipment supplied by Siemens Energy.

The role requires a degree in Automation/Control Engineering, 3–5 years of commissioning experience in power plants preferred, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation Engineering (BSc or MSc) or similar.
• Fluent in English and Polish languages.
• High level of independence and quality orientation.
• Willingness to work on long-term energy projects abroad.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate I&C commissioning activities for projects abroad.
• Maintain commissioning documentation and punchlists.
• Ensure procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
• Keep daily site logs and resolve field conflicts between installed vs. design.

Job Summary

You will represent the Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Group on worldwide project assignments for Project Entity. You’ll be responsible for commissioning of I&C components, such as automation processors, sensors, drives, and interlocks. Your contribution is critical to ensure trouble-free operation of I&C and Distributed Control System equipment supplied by Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Commissioning coordination of the I&C part of black - boxes
• Responsible for the proper handling of commissioning documentation
• Recording entries to the punchlist for the construction and comm. management
• Ensuring that commissioning procedures are followed and proper documentation is maintained
• Maintaining daily site log
• Identifying and resolving conflicts between installed and as - designed conditions

What You Bring

• Degree in Automation Engineering (BSc or MSc) Electronics, Robotics, Automatic, Control Engineering or similar, preferably with focus on power engineering
• Preferably, but not mandatory, 3- to 5-years of experience in commissioning of I&C commissioning in power plants
• Fluent in English language and Polish language
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Valid passport and driving license
• Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality
• Decisiveness and openness to multicultural environment
• Executing energy projects of several months or long-term duration, mainly located outside of Poland
