Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to join our client-facing automation projects based in Warsaw. You will build robust automation solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include developing Ansible roles and playbooks, configuring Ansible Automation Platform, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and delivering secure, scalable automation across servers, databases, storage and networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT automation with hands-on Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible playbooks and role development.
• Experience designing and structuring complex Ansible solutions using variables, modules, loops, plugins, templates and other advanced features.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) including configuration and resource management.
• Good understanding of infrastructure automation covering servers, databases, storage and networking.
• Experience with security and compliance automation (patching, hardening, certificate management).
• Experience with environments subject to regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA).
• Good knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible roles and playbooks for automation across environments.
• Design robust, scalable automation solutions using advanced Ansible capabilities.
• Configure and manage resources within Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Develop custom Ansible modules and automation components using Python.
• Automate infrastructure-related processes covering servers, databases, storage and network environments.
• Automate configuration management, application deployments and operational processes.
• Develop security and compliance-related automation (patching, hardening, certificates).
• Support automation initiatives related to regulatory and operational resilience requirements (DORA).
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise existing Ansible solutions.
• Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Follow coding standards and documentation for automation projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
