Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an experienced Android developer to join cross-functional teams delivering native Android apps across devices. You will work with Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern patterns such as MVP/MVVM, contributing to design and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities include backend integration, cloud connections, and collaborating with UX/UI to optimize user experience. The role embraces AI-assisted coding tools and a hybrid work model with ongoing personal development

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience developing native Android apps.
Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Android SDK.
Experience with MVP/MVVM, Dagger/Hilt, RxJava/RxBinding.
Knowledge of Room/Realm/SQLite, REST/JSON/ Retrofit, Android Jetpack; Git and Gitflow.
Basic mobile DevOps and CI/CD knowledge.
Fluent English and German (B2+).
Interest in AI-assisted software development and learning tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Android applications across project life cycles.
Take responsibility for part or all of a system depending on the project.
Collaborate with UX/UI to ensure top user experience.
Integrate apps with backend, cloud, and low-code platforms.
Adopt modern tools and AI-assisted coding practices while ensuring code quality and security.
