Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and improve high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to influence technical decisions and contribute to software architecture.

You’ll work on mobile solutions for millions of users, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability, while advancing automated testing and CI/CD practices within an international context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and practical Android SDK experience.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and asynchronous programming (Coroutines).
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Fluent Polish and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications focused on performance and stability.
• Refactor and optimize existing solutions; drive architectural improvements.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient development, testing, and release.
• Deliver high-quality, testable, maintainable code and participate in technical decision-making.
• Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and software quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for development and operations.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving high-performance mobile applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to software architecture, and help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric products.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Enhancing existing solutions through refactoring, code optimization, and continuous architectural improvements
• Building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and release processes
• Delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to technical decision-making
• Participating in code reviews and promoting engineering standards, best practices, and software quality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation to support development and operational processes
  
  

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience with the Android SDK
• Practical experience building modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrency using Coroutines
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD practices, and maintaining scalable mobile applications
• Fluent communication skills in both Polish and English, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment
