Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a long-term mobility and digital services project in Poland. You will design, build, and improve high-performance Android apps, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

You will drive architecture, contribute to scalable solutions, and ensure quality through testing and code reviews while shaping technical direction across the product.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial Android app development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Android SDK proficiency.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and asynchronous programming using Coroutines.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications focusing on performance and stability.
• Refactor and optimize existing solutions; contribute to architectural improvements.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for development, testing, and release.
• Deliver high-quality, testable, maintainable code and influence technical decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards and quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support development and operations.

Join a long-term product development initiative in the logistics and digital services sector, focused on creating mobile solutions that support millions of everyday users. As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving high-performance mobile applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to software architecture, and help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric products.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Enhancing existing solutions through refactoring, code optimization, and continuous architectural improvements
• Building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and release processes
• Delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to technical decision-making
• Participating in code reviews and promoting engineering standards, best practices, and software quality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation to support development and operational processes

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands‑on experience with the Android SDK
• Practical experience building modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrency using Coroutines
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD practices, and maintaining scalable mobile applications
• Fluent communication skills in both Polish and English, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment
