Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Poland with 5–10 years of experience to migrate legacy data infrastructure and replatform data pipelines for a major UK bank.

You will lead end-to-end data investigations, optimize ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You will apply DBT and Databricks expertise, drive data quality initiatives and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for technical and business

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of DBT and/or Databricks to investigate complex data issues, identify root causes and understand impacts across the data supply chain.
• Ability to lead and drive data analysis and investigations across multiple teams, challenge assumptions, coordinate troubleshooting efforts and bring stakeholders together to deliver effective solutions.
• Analytical thinking and technical problem-solving with strong communication, influencing and collaboration skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and data transformation processes.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data investigations and root-cause analysis across the end-to-end data supply chain using DBT/ Databricks, SQL and relational databases.
• Drive cross-functional troubleshooting efforts, coordinating multiple teams to identify impacts, resolve issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Own the analysis of complex data flows, ETL/ELT processes and data transformations, ensuring data quality, integrity and reliability.
• Challenge assumptions and translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment on priorities, root causes, remediation strategies and delivery plans.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify data risks, dependencies and downstream impacts.
• Communicate complex data and technical issues effectively
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes, controls and investigation practices to prevent recurring issues and improve overall data reliability.
