Job summary

GlobalLogic is leading a migration project with Barclays to move legacy data assets to a modern cloud environment. The role centers on building scalable data pipelines using dbt, Python, SQL, and Databricks, with orchestration on AWS or equivalent.

You will collaborate with engineering leadership, optimize pipelines, ensure data quality, and translate business requirements into technical design. Strong English communication and hands-on cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and programming (Python preferred).
• Experience with modern orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze processes, propose improvements, and drive solutions end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute dbt and Python scripts to migrate databases and integrate with Databricks.
• Participate in data migration activities ensuring accurate transformation of legacy data assets.
• Collaborate with Barclays stakeholders to operate DIH and internal migration tools.
• Design and implement data transformation pipelines within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Validate migrated datasets for quality, consistency, and completeness.
