Job summary

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and run the data platform behind the commercial side of Scrambly—the pipelines and models that inform spend, rewards, and ecosystem protection. You will maintain pipelines turning raw events, attribution data, and advertiser feeds into trusted tables, sizing opportunities, setting thresholds, and telling the business what the data says.

Qualifications

3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or a closely related role.
Strong SQL and solid analytical data modelling.
Analytical judgement with ability to measure and recommend.
Google Cloud experience strongly preferred (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM).
Python for data work and familiarity with Git and code review.
Curiosity and comfort with unfamiliar systems; proactive and self-directed.
English at B2+, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Build and model analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery from source data to trusted tables.
Analyse and recommend by turning findings into actionable insights for non-technical teams.
Take ownership of existing pipelines and keep them running in production.
Make the data trustworthy with testing, assertion, and alerting layers.
Raise the engineering bar by optimizing warehouse costs and performance, and establishing best practices.
Collaborate with Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, and commercial teams.
