Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Strategic Advisor to shape its Technology strategy and AI, operating within Group Technology Strategy & AI. You will collaborate across Group Technology, Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Risk, Finance and business stakeholders to translate long-term ambitions into practical, decision-ready plans.

The role offers hybrid work with a preference for Helsinki/Stockholm, and options for Poland (Tri-City, Warsaw) with 60% onsite.

Qualifications

Experience in technology strategy, transformation or execution in a large enterprise, consultancy, technology company, financial institution, or multinational organisation.
Ability to translate long-term ambitions into practical outcomes and executive-level material.

Responsibilities

Shape and evolve Nordea’s technology strategy in collaboration with stakeholders across Group Technology and the wider organisation.
Drive strategic initiatives and transformation programs across modernisation, cloud, engineering, resilience, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Develop executive-level analyses, recommendations and decision material for senior leadership and governance forums.
Provide strategic guidance and constructive challenge on technology investments to ensure alignment with Nordea’s long-term objectives.
Monitor market, technology and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
Build strong relationships across technology, architecture, finance, risk and business teams to drive alignment and execution.
