Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Experience assessing emerging technologies from an architectural perspective.
• Ability to translate innovation topics into architectural inputs and recommendations.
• Experience collaborating across innovation, architecture, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess architectural fit and integration feasibility of emerging technologies for innovation topics accepted for assessment.
• Develop high-level solution design sketches and integration options, ensuring enterprise-grade solutions.
• Coordinate with Hitachi Energy architects to align assessments with target architecture standards and reference patterns.
• Investigate platform and application landscape, including build-vs-buy-vs-reuse considerations and high-level cost implications.
• Outline architecture options where a PoC or further investigation is recommended and define guardrails.
• Identify security, data, or compliance considerations early and involve relevant experts.
• Engage with external vendors/startups to evaluate solutions against criteria.
• Prepare recommendation packages with architecture findings, risks, and constraints.
• Document insights for knowledge repositories and reusable pattern libraries.
