Job summary

Ledgy is hiring for an Software Engineer on the AI Systems team. You will build AI foundations and product experiences including the Ledgy Agent, MCP server, and safety-focused integration tools.

The role collaborates with engineers, product managers and designers in a fast-moving area where correctness matters as much as speed. You will work across the Ledgy stack in a TypeScript monorepo, with a focus on building scalable AI capabilities, compliant with responsible automation and observability

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Software Engineer, with strong TypeScript/Node fundamentals across back end and front end.
• Built and shipped agentic or LLM-based software to production, such as an agent, assistant, or chat product; tracked costs and latency.
• Designed the agent itself: tools and skills, context and prompt engineering, state, streaming, and the agent loop.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Ledgy Agent and MCP surface
• Shape MCP server to enable safe AI integrations
• Measure agent quality through evaluations, tracing and feedback
• Scale infrastructure for growing usage and reliability
