Job summary

Flyerone is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own features from database to UI in an AI-driven squad. The stack includes PHP/Laravel and Node.js/NestJS on the backend, React with TypeScript on the frontend, and AWS cloud.

You will leverage AI coding assistants, automated testing tools, and generative AI workflows daily. You will work in a small squad, collaborating with product and design to scope, estimate, and prioritize work while contributing to defining our AI-enabled engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend and frontend proficiency.
• Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and/or Node.js/NestJS and React/TypeScript.
• Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure, relational databases, and API design experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and testing practices.
• Excellent async written communication and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end features across the full stack.
• Design, build, and operate production systems in a payroll domain.
• Use AI coding tools to write, review, and refactor code.
• Write automated tests with AI-assisted generation for high coverage.
• Participate in lean rituals and collaborate with product and design.
• Define and evolve AI-augmented tooling and practices.
• Share ownership of monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotations.
