Job summary

Redpanda Data is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the ADP initiative, reporting to the VP of Engineering. You will own the roadmap, ship features, and partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Engineering to turn design into production deployments.

This hybrid role is based in Warsaw with a minimum of three days on-site. You will help shape the engineering culture, mentor a growing team, and drive strategy for AI-first software development across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years managing software engineers.
• Experience leading technically strong teams in fast-moving, early-stage product areas.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent infrastructure or governance patterns for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the ADP roadmap and execution for the AI gateway, MCP/tool governance, agent identity, policy enforcement, and audit/observability.
• Move fast and ship in-demand features and functionality in real time.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Engineering, and design-partner customers to operationalize success.
• Craft and execute the company's technology vision and strategy for ADP.
• Help set the AI-first culture and working practices across software engineering.
