Job summary

Cast AI is seeking a platform engineer to build AI-enabled systems atop its Kubernetes platform. You’ll design, implement, and operate production Go services that connect live clusters, cloud APIs, and LLMs. This role emphasizes robust, scalable solutions with strong security and observability.

You’ll work on a remote‑first, EU‑friendly team, shipping features every few weeks and contributing to the agented AI layer that powers Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with clean abstractions and maintainable code.
• Production experience with Go or strong systems programming in a comparable language.
• Experience with large‑scale SaaS platforms and multi‑tenancy.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-assisted systems behind our Kubernetes platform.
• Develop and maintain a public, permission-aware MCP server.
• Connect cloud providers and operator data to enable real‑time reasoning.
• Write production Go services interacting with cloud APIs and the Kubernetes control plane.
• Own features end‑to‑end from design to production rollout (usually 1–4 weeks).
• Debug complex production issues, including cross‑cloud permissions and data freshness.
• Contribute to product direction and participate in on‑call rotations.
