Mento is a remote-first career technology company building AI-powered coaching tools for modern work. We are hiring a product-minded senior software engineer to help us deliver data-driven features and AI-enabled capabilities at scale.

You will work with Go, TypeScript, and Ruby on a fast-moving team, collaborating with coaches to translate insights into product experiences and to build scalable data integrations.

Qualifications

• Shipping data-related products into production with real users.
• Experience with dynamic languages and server-side web apps.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and web stacks.
• Experience integrating LLM-based coding tools into workflows.
• Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

• Build features from 0-to-1 and ship regularly.
• Design AI-enabled capabilities atop foundational models.
• Translate coaching insights into AI agents.
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrations with external tools.
• Educate the team on data and AI best practices.
