Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland seeks a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain conversational AI agents across cloud environments, with emphasis on Python-driven orchestration and multi‑channel interactions. You will connect AI to corporate systems, develop scalable microservices, implement evaluation loops, and collaborate with data teams on pipelines, CI/CD, cloud strategies, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills for AI model integration and orchestration.
• 1–2 years hands-on Generative AI and LLMs experience.
• Experience in ML engineering: data prep, vector databases, model training/optimizing.
• Strong backend and frontend architecture experience.
• Deep knowledge of ML evaluation, tuning, and prompt engineering.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure including CI/CD and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable conversational AI systems across chat, voice, email, and APIs.
• Architect microservices and asynchronous systems for high availability.
• Use Python to orchestrate tools, workflows, and system interactions.
• Fine-tune models and integrate LoRA for data-driven choices.
• Establish prompt engineering libraries and evaluation protocols.
• Design monitoring and dashboards to track model quality and trust.
• Collaborate with data teams to build data pipelines for AI agents.
• Design CI/CD pipelines, container standards, and cloud migration strategies.
