Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and develop comprehensive AI applications, including chatbots and agent workflows, for Polish clients. You will lead data pipelines, model evaluation, and system performance improvements, while staying current with the latest LLM technologies.

You will collaborate with clients to tailor LLM-driven solutions, ensure compliance, and drive value through AI initiatives across projects in Poland.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and AI application development lifecycle.
• Experience with web frameworks (FastAPI or similar).
• Experience with rapid UI prototyping (Streamlit/Gradio).
• Familiarity with major LLM platforms/APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Gemini).
• Knowledge of RAG, Agents, and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end AI applications (chatbots, QA, agent workflows).
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand needs and recommend LLM-driven solutions.
• Develop and manage data pipelines, prompts, and datasets for accurate models.
• Evaluate and refine AI system performance for accuracy, scalability, and security.
• Stay updated with evolving LLM technologies and frameworks.
