Job summary

Relativity, a leading legal data intelligence company, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer on the Agent Harness team. You will shape the architecture of Relativity’s agent runtime, adopting LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents to fit Relativity’s needs and provide a solid runtime foundation for all agents.

You will extend capabilities such as long-session handling and broader protocol support, determine first‑class agent patterns, and design clean abstractions for enabling application teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python in production systems.
• Hands-on experience designing LLM-powered or agentic systems with LangChain/LangGraph or equivalent.
• Experience with tool calling, orchestration, and agent state management.
• Strong solution architecture with reusable abstractions for other engineers.
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous Python, API/service design, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience delivering cloud-native systems in Azure with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect Relativity’s agent runtime on the Agent Harness team.
