Job summary

Relativity is hiring an Advanced AI Engineer to build and extend the agent runtime on the Agent Harness team. You’ll work hands-on with LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents to enable reliable multi-agent orchestration and tool interaction.

In this fast-moving space, you’ll help mature the harness with long-session handling, protocol support, and production-grade capabilities. Join a team focused on scalable, cloud-native legal AI platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python.
• Experience building LLM-powered or agentic systems with LangChain/LangGraph.
• Clean, testable code and contribution to design of owned components.
• Strong async Python, API design, and relational data (PostgreSQL).
• Cloud-native systems with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes familiarity.
• BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent; English for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the Python-based agent runtime with LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents.
• Implement harness capabilities: streaming, tool calling, memory, and long-running sessions.
• Contribute to extensibility: MCP tool servers, A2A interoperability, and runtime registry.
• Help agents select models across providers (OpenAI, Gemini).
• Write clean, tested code and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with Applied Science and aiR teams to productionize new capabilities.
