Rockwell Automation in Katowice offers a hybrid role for a Senior AI-Augmented Project Accountant, supporting global project accounting, revenue recognition, and month-end reporting. You will leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline processes and collaborate with FP&A, controllers, and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in project accounting, strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency with Power BI and Excel-based automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in project accounting, revenue recognition, and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and close/reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform project accounting for entities and business units with accurate reporting.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close, journals, accruals, and revenue recognition.
• Analyze project performance: revenue, costs, margins, backlog, balances.
• Prepare contract liability reconciliations per policies.
• Collaborate with ops, project managers, controllers, and FP&A.
• Provide financial insights, variance analyses, and reports.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to project accounting and revenue.
• Utilize Power BI/Power Query and other MS tools to automate reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities with Digital Powerhouse and stakeholders.
